“International Workshop: Bangkok’s Creative City Dynamic 2024”

The International Workshop: Bangkok’s Creative City Dynamic 2024, held from November 22-27, 2024, brought together experts from three renowned universities under the IWAH Consortium.

Participants from diverse backgrounds, including

Faculty of Architecture, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT)

Faculty of Architecture, Urban Design and Creative Arts, Mahasarakham University (MSU)

Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, Mahasarakham University (MSU)

Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying (UTM), University Technology Malaysia (UTM)

Participants actively explored the historic Charoen Krung district, collaborating on innovative ideas to transform it into a vibrant hub for creativity and cultural innovation in Bangkok. The workshop was generously supported by the Association of Siamese Architects (ASA), the Creative Economy Agency (CEA), and Urban Ally, a team of urban design experts who provided valuable insights.

This collaborative initiative fostered a regional network among Asian participants, facilitating knowledge exchange and enhancing skills in architecture and urban design. The workshop served as a platform for international collaboration on the development of creative districts.
